The Vulvar Dermatology Clinic at the Kaye Edmonton clinic specializes in external genital skin diseases in women. The patients are seen by a health care team comprised of nurses, medical students and residents, and a dermatologist, Dr. Marlene Dytoc.
A separate multidisciplinary Vulvar Clinic at the Lois Hole Hospital for Women was established as a clinical innovation to care for female patients with combined vulvar and vaginal conditions. The health care team includes a dermatologist (Dr. Marlene Dytoc) a gynaecologist (Dr. Nan Schuurmans), nurses, medical students and residents. The Vulvar Clinic is one of many clinics devoted to women available at the Lois Hole Hospital. Others include the Pelvic Pain Clinic, Menopause Clinic and the Urogynecology clinic.
