Dermatology is the branch of medicine dealing with the care of skin, hair, nails, and their diseases.

Our University Dermatology Center (UDC) serves patients across northern Alberta with a strong focus on specialized and more advanced treatments for cancers and chronic inflammatory disorders of the skin as well as diseases of hair, nails, and mucosa.

Highlights of our facility:

• We are affiliated with the University of Alberta Hospital, and we are a Division of the Department of Medicine at the University of Alberta.
• We offer services in dermatology, dermatologic surgery, and allergy.
• We have a full phototherapy centre offering UVA and UVB light therapy.
• We have patch testing and allergy testing capabilities.
