University Dermatology Clinic (UDC)

Dermatology is the branch of medicine dealing with the care of skin, hair, nails and their diseases.
Our University Dermatology Clinic (UDC) serves patients across northern Alberta, the Northwest Territories, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan, with a strong focus on specialized and more advanced treatments for diseases of hair, nails, mucosa, cancers and chronic inflammatory disorders of the skin.
Highlights of our facility:
- We are affiliated with the University of Alberta Hospital, and we are a Division of the Department of Medicine at the University of Alberta.
- We offer services in dermatology and dermatologic surgery.
- We have a full phototherapy centre offering PUVA and UVB light therapy.
- We have patch testing capabilities.
This site is a resource for patients, medical students, residents and referring physicians in all aspects related to clinical dermatology in our clinic.
